TJ spent more than 12 years in the Military Intelligence Community, 8 of which were on Active Duty as an enlisted Navy Intelligence Specialist. He deployed to Afghanistan and Africa providing intelligence support to the Navy Special Operations Community, served at a U.S. Embassy, and was selected as Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year at both the Office of Naval Intelligence and the Defense Intelligence Agency.
Following his separation from the Navy in 2018, TJ transitioned to a successful defense contracting role where he eventually led more than 200 intelligence and operations professional tackling challenging national security issues around the world. As a manager and leader, he provided mentorship, interviewed more than 120 candidates for his program, and maintained 60 OCONUS deployment rotations on a consistent basis.
While working as a defense contractor, TJ dedicated his free time to assisting fellow veterans separate from Military service to civilian life, which led him to getting his VA Real Estate License and joining the MilVets Home Team as a part-time agent in early 2020 – one of the first agents to join the team.
In 2021, TJ decided to take his veteran-focused services to the next level. He attained his Military Relocation Specialist Certification, resigned from the Intelligence Community, and dedicated himself to helping Veterans buy and sell real estate full-time.
His passion for being a sound advisor and veteran-focused service provider continues to this day. His vision in this role is to apply his in-depth analytical experience to the real estate market and be the very best advisor to his clients in order to accomplish the mission – to get that dream home.
The biggest lessons TJ carries with him from his military service are objectivity and integrity. He is focused on analyzing all courses of action and advising his clients of the best – and worst – possible outcomes. Honesty and transparency are integral to his process, keeping his clients fully informed and confident in their decisions.
